avatar and quote

When I originally signed up I thought I had added an avatar and quote. When I went into my account to try to find it and re-add it the avatar function was disabled (not by me) and it will not allow me to reactivate it. How can I get this fixed?

After trying the avatar again, there was a link to add it that was not there previously. So I wa able to add a new one.
