Looks workable Kev, maybe drop them a bit lower on the chest as well. As the plaid pin is only secured by the pin the edge of the medal ribbon could sit under it slightly. Is it a case of the old saying "here's your medal now go get a chest to pin ot on".

Cheers Simon

Cheers for the idea ...going to lower them so they sit half way between the top two buttons

Stay tuned

seems to have lost a post. try No2. Also you could think about placing the tara pin a tad higher and to the right.
Mick

Hi Mick

Not sure what you mean ref post ?

Think I will move the Tara pin as you suggested , that should give me room to put medals where I want ....fingers crossed

Thanks for idea

Looks good Kev.
Maybe a little picky but are the medals to close to the button, can you move a tad over with the pin just covering the top corner of the medal ribbon?
Mick

The repositioning suggested by Mick is good, they look like they belong there now. I like how you are building them up in stages, a very sensible approach. I am guessing you're not going to have this finished in time for Bugle Call, no point in rushing it but I would love to see it.

Hi to all

Medals now in final position , shaping of star ....still to be detailed a lot more ( crossed swords and laurel ) , attachments added on all...time to let it fully dry , then add detail to the rounded ones

Once all done and painted will add a flash of colour from each ribbon

All comments welcome

Kev I see you’ve crossed over to the sculpting side, very nice work indeed and can’t wait to see the finished piece.
