Painting of the figure is spot on. You have a way with these bases as well. Very well executed.

Thanks for your comments. The roundels were hand painted straight onto the wood base then sanded with wet and dry to give them a distressed look.

really nice , i like the base , the roundels are really effecrtive !
this ismuch more intresting than a straight foward varnished base
