My second Ax Faction figure in 32mm features a very nice looking female warrior figure with a huge sword standing on a simple but nicely done base. In fact she is standing in a Giant's footprint, pausing for a moment with a slight smile on her face as she prepares to close in and hunt down her prey.

I really like the fact that Ax Faction provide these nicely done scenic bases. This one, though not as elaborate as some, fits the bill perfectly and is nicely moulded. Their artwork depicts it as a snow scene and I think that is perfect for it.

The kit comes in five parts. The figure is in one piece except for the right hand which is moulded onto the sword. A sprue holds the sword, a helmet which is there to decorate the base rather than wear and a nicely animated short cape. Then there is the base as described above.

She is wearing a pair of leather or heavy fabric trousers with nice side stitching detail as well as decorative/protective panels on the thighs. A short leather bodice armour covers her top half leaving just the midriff bare, her shoulders are also protected with leather armour. She has nicely moulded fur boots with protective shin plates. Her forearms are protected by fur lined leather armour too.

Her mighty sword stands as tall as she does and is quite elaborate in design and decoration. However, the rear side is more plain than the front.

Her stance is of quiet confidence as is her expression, the face being very well sculpted. Her long hair is depicted flowing in the wind and matches the flow of the cape naturally.

Here are my pictures of the kit after a light clean up and just tacked together for the photos. The sword hand appears to fit the arm quite well as does the cape which has locating pins that go into holes just below her hairline.

This is a very nice figure and I am looking forward to getting it together ready for priming. As with all their figures, you get a quality printed art card of the subject.
