A Fixture
I found Ax Faction while trawling the net for figures. 32mm is a bit small for me but there was something about the figures on offer that appealed to me. Not only the gorgeous looking figures but the basing that comes with them.
I decided to order one to see what they were like and I have to say, I am quite impressed. The figure I selected is 'Jötnar's Bane' a fierce sword and axe wielding female warrior leaping into action from a severed stoneTroll's head.
The presentation of the figure is superb. Inside the well padded envelope is a quality art card picture of the character and a strong card box.
Inside the box is a ziplock bag containing the multiple part figure.
The figure is superbly done as is the stunning Troll's head. A runner has the two arms, one with an axe and one with a sword, the left bent leg which joins at a garter like detail above the knee. There is also a lovely Raven like bird which sits on her shoulder.
The hair is nicely sculptured and well animated, decorated with what looks like small flowers, a nice feminine touch which must please whatever she is going to slaughter.....
I see on their website they will be at Figure World, I will be looking forward to seeing their range there. I know I am no expert but I really like these figures if this one is anything to go by.
Now all I need to do is try and paint it!
