Recently retired and found more time to work on more important things, which includes being a more active contributor here. Just finished this superb Aztec Jaguar warrior bust from La Meridiana that has been sitting in my grey army since forever. Completed with acrylics and inks. Hope you like.

A very colourful piece indeed , a lot of patterns to deal with , like the way you’ve handled the “spots” and 5ge headwear feathers look good

If I remember right the mask is cast separate to the actual head

Yes, the mask is cast separately and a joy to paint. The feathered headdress proved the most challenging bit :)
