While I am almost finished on the other troooer I started working on the next chap.
Making a little conversion on a leftover swiss/French guard.

I am getting rid of the cartridge box on the back, all the lace, lowering the stand up collar and building the front of the coat to leave it open / unbuttoned as was the fashion for the Regular Troops.

The shoulder best was narrowed by cutting and sanding the edges.

And front, belt, vest and small ventral cartridge box done.

I have finished the areas i needed on the coat and belts.
Added the bittons to the uniform and powder flask and cords using greenstuff.
I will let the putty to harden and will prime the figure.

I’m still amazed at the conversion work you achieve , this being not different

Interesting you used snips to remove the old cartridge pouch rather than a Dremel

Nice puttywork on the replacement equipment

@Kev, i find the snips work more precise when it comes to cut little pieces.
My dremmerl has been decomissioned fir a while now, i need to get a new one.

Primed the figure with Vallejo white brush on primer.
Hat and head have the base colors on.
