Beautifully painted Matt. s others have said the leather jacket is a stand out, and you've managed to achieve some very realistic effects to make the leather look worn. The only constructive criticism I would make is that I think the lambs wool lining of the jacket could do with a wash of English Uniform or Raw Sienna, to really capture the texture of the wool and to break up the monotone colour of the wool. Please feel free to ignore my comment if you're happy with the bust and don't agree with me.

Excellent! Could you discuss how you achieved that worn leather look?

All the best,
Dan

I'll try to explain- Base coat of Black and burnt umber, very thin. Then another coat (thin) of same. Then washes of black and spots of raw seinna and other lighter browns. But I tried to keep the dark blackish brown base. I used some Vallejo colors to break up the color a bit. The sleeves of the jacket had more raw sienna, orange brown and flat earth.

Tony, the fur doesn't photograph well. It tends to over expose. In person there is more definition to the fur. I appreciate your comments.
