I ve just seen this on JMD web

S&T, Seil, Elite and now JMD. Have I missed out any other recent (i.e. "austerity"-era) closures?

Great shame to see them go as they've done some lovely stuff, although their range was a bit limited and I had noticed that they hadn't brought out anything new for a while.

They stayed away from the main stream and produced some very different figures over most genres-perhaps being different wasn't enough and you need a few Romans, Napoleonics etc?
Having said that it is pure speculation, perhaps they just didn't have time to cope with the demands of running even a small business in a difficult economy.

Sad to see them go as I have a few of their pieces in the collection...................Keith
 
The resin figures were top notch sharp as a tack pieces. They should be proud of what they have achieved.
