First of all Welcome to the Planet!

Your piece is great! It have a lot of motion and action in it. Please keep us updated on your painting of this piece.

Luca,

First, welcome to PF. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Your scene is really nice. Can you tell us more about the figures and the horse's and please more pictures. :)

Joe

Luca, in a word, UNBELIEVABLE ! It's fantastic. Send us more pics please. Iv'e always liked this period of history (next to the Napoleonic period) and there, until recently, haven't been a lot of figures from this era. I'm looking forward to seeing how you finish this piece.

Welcome aboard, Jim Patrick

Luca

Thanks to everybody and a special thanks to Lou who suggest me this great website. (Grazie Lou). So, actually this is not really my last job, i just finish another figure and I 'll open another post named "first flight" or something like that. The Balaklava model is finished and painted, yes it will be at MFCA (if I'll have the base I ordered one month ago....).
And now some more pics

The horses are Bill Marklein production. They are in strictly 1-35 scale and they are for sale. If you need them send me a mail. They cost 25 $ each and in the serie there is also the shy horse (watch Mike Blank web site, latest jobs) and a "medioeval" horse, little bigger than 1-35 for knight with armour.....
The horses that I used and converted are the running horse and the arabian horse, transformed in the "jumping horse".
This is the painting who inspired me.

Hola Chef!

Thanks for posting more pictures! Funny that it is an Arab as when I saw it I thought it looked like a damned Arab (quarterhorse people joke, we always make fun of Arab horses, although I have owned one in the past and she was a pretty decent hoss)

Looking forward to see the pics of this piece painted!
