I did my first attempt with balsafoam.
Its not yet ready.
For a 90mm figure from all in Scale called Oriental Lady of war.

The project was over in about 50 minutes. This material is highliy recommended.
I think I must do the next three week only dios,dios, dios, dios. everything with balsafoam.

I worked only with a Spatula dont know the word. Balsa foam you can get in three hardness, for this I used nr. I but i think its too smooth.
we worked also at www.gluetrain.de with this.

Greyfunnelline is the importeur in Germany thank poch mahone I get it from there.
Very fast an friendly this man.
 
Balsa Foam had been around for 15 years or more that I know of,it is to coarse for my likings and find very little use for it,but there is another product that is a million times better named renshape it is like balsafoam but,does not fall apart and turn to dust,and without the million of air holes.Mrosko
