Here is Jeffshui's newest 120mm release. "Barbarossa 1941" This figure had been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks; just waiting for me to paint.
Painted with Vallejo mostly, except Skin tones from Andrea. Tamiya RML Grey for the pants. EnviroTex Lite clear resin fon the water efects. Grasses fom Joefix and Fredericus Rex.
I highly recomend any of the Jeffshui Minatures. Casting and sculpt is top notch.
Hope every enjoys there Holiday.........................

Nice job!
I have it on my bench now and agree that it's a great sculpt! The pose is very realistic, as are the arms and hands particularly.
Because I'm struggling with it: how did you mount the gas mask container? Did you attach it to the body? Or via the carrying straps? (can't see in your pictures). Same question for the MG: what sort of carrying strap did you use? Thanks for your advice!

Cheers,
Adrian

Cool german soldier.
The color of the uniform is wonderful.
The details are also very beautiful.
The ground work is also wonderful.
I congratulate completion.

This is one I want to get as well. I think with some repositioning of the left arm and leaning him forward so that both feet are on the ground, he could very well represent the guy in Gordy's post walking though the sunflowers. Thats my plan for him. Looks great!

Nice work Brent, well done,
I also have this miniature and I have to admit that it is an excellent sculpting figure and I will paint it soon,
the only think I have to say is that the clothes are very satin almost glossy (specially the trousers) I believe you should spray a matt varnish.
Kind regards
Christos

Christos,
I agree; this is my plan to dull him down a bit to day.
Adrian,
I attached gas mask container directly to the body do to the fact that the straps for the body were there. The MG sling was from Techstar, photo etch. This step was hated. I do need to improve my milput or putty strap making skills and skin tones. Also need to over look my camera work too.

I think this is a miniature realism in motion and I quite like.
From that I see from the photo has achieved the color of his uniform, simple colors and shine just lost a good job!
We are not talking of course the ground is just incredible!
