Hi there

I am having a lot of fun with this creation from Métal Modèles and Pegaso parts.

The horse anatomy is 100% Métal Modèles, English saddle and pistol holsters are mostly made out of Milliput and thin metal sheets for the gold braids.

At the end of the day (if I may say so), all going well, I should be having a nice Aide de Camp to Marshall Berthier in his very elegant summer campaign dress.

Note that the pictures were taken with my cell phone; apologize for the poor quality.

Regards,

Thanks for the compliment.
The red saddle cover has been painted with oils.
Base: Deep cadmium red + light cadmium red + Violet de Bayeux + burnt umber.
Shade: add more of Violet de Bayeux and burnt umber
Light: only keep the two cadmium reds and light cadmium red alone for extreme lights.

Both shade and lights should not be exagerated.

nice info.
i don't use oils, but i could use the reference you gave me for my next red uniform.
Many thanks and looking fwd to more pics of your great mounted figure.

beautiful work Paul,I also especially like the reds...Very very convincingly done and overall a great job.Look forward to more.
Many thanks

Milesker Edorta.

The Planet is not the right place to advertise about the phone, but as long as you know it has a fruit-shaped logo...

I have started with the horseman. The pants are quite difficult.

If I remember well, Le Cimier figure was wearing a society uniform, therefore not suitable for horse riding. This uniform can be seen at Musée de l'Emperi, near Marseilles.

For this mounted figure I chose the campaign dress. There is a nice uniform plate by French specialist Rigo about Berthier's Aides de Camp.

C’est très beau, j’adore les chevaux de couleur blanche, et vous avez très bien réussi.
Excellent !

Hi Paul, Compliments ,this Job is very nice, all very balanced, too bad that the photos tend to a little green, but we understand very well all the quality.

Bravo(y)
