Shortly I will mount the two figures in this vignette, but here first is the base. All comments welcome!

Yep, the leaves of autum...

Looks good so far, the tree is fine, the roots on the ground well made.

Looking forward to see more!

Frank

Kyle, That's looking good. It may be the photos, but the trees look like they could make do with some more contrast.~Gary

Thank you Gary, Roc, Jay and Frank.

Gary, you are correct! I do need to do some more contrasting on the trees. I will post results when figures are mounted.

Again, thanks for your input!

Kyle :)

looks really good my friend. Its balanced and well done. Just 2 things . one is the conrast on the tree (try some highlighting with Buff from Valejo, makes miracles) and also some Cassel Earth oil washes on the ground crevices to make it stronger and deeper contrasted .

Keep on it

Thank you, Marc and Christos!

Marc, he tree was converted from a Time Machine resin trunk provided with this kit. I used small gauge wire to build the extra branches, and then used spackle (AKA tetrion) to build up the bulk and base of the tree. When near dry, I used a sculpting tool to etch the bark and countours of the trunk. I then applied photo-etched leaves from PlusModel. Once affixed, they take paint very well.

The tree trunk is made from Magisculp.

Cheers,

Kyle :)
