The model shop in my area has finally closed down after 39 years of doing business. What I wanted to ask is where online can I buy base material? Example, cork, grass and things to do with making ground work? Thanks in advance.

there are several shops in the net that sell those materials.
I trade with some english shops, spanish and italian with good results.
