Afternoon all

While musing over what to put on the bench next, I dug out this little guy, which I spent two and a bit days painting. I don't know who sculpted it, but the detail in something this small is amazing. I'm guessing he is some sort of religious type, based on the various crosses and incense burners hanging round his belt. He measures about 40mm and has the typical bar-type base fitting, similar to Warhammer 40k figures. Fun to paint:
Title: Battle Monk Scale 40mm??. Sculptor unknown. Manufacturer Enigma Miniatures. Metal
Painted in Vallejo and Citadel Acrylics. Base by Dan Finnemore. Here he is:

Comments welcome. Thanks for looking(y)

Great work Phil! There are some really interesting figures in the smaller scales which is why I go there so often. :)(y)(y)(y)

Many thanks Ken - I have to admit there is a lot to recommend smaller scales, especially the better sculpted ones. I think I will go there again for sure.

Fun looking figure, like all of the details and the splash of color on the raised arm.

Much appreciated!(y) I looked at the slashing on the right sleeve and thought it might just add something to an otherwise subdued colour scheme.

Just remembered I've got Yarry and 'Mrs Yarry' from Enigma in the stash somewhere (y)

Thanks Derek, much appreciated.

This one was on Historex website in their discontinued lines - I think it was a fiver. I bought Andrea's Gen Franco at the same time, also a fiver (nicely sculpted but obviously not a very popular subject)
