Slowly working my way through this. I’ve started on the saddle detail and the harnessing. A lot of great detail on the shabraque. There is also a lot of fine detail on the chest harness, eye patches and the rectangular plate at the top of the horses neck. This isn’t raised like the detail on the saddlecloth so I’m going to try some very thin washes to see if it will pick out the detail. I’ve started on the horse eyes and markings. I’ll be going back to the markings as the base colour was still a bit wet when I started putting them on and the white has muddied. I’ve changed the waist sash from blue and I’m going for a striped sash with a white background.

I like the horse colour a lot , think it woukd also look good as a dapple
