I think you are on the right track for painting figures. Did you know that there is a figureclub in Brugge and Gent. From Boekhoute (if i'm correct not far from Brugge) it's a short drive to learn alot about figure painting.
I suggest that you take some pictures without flashlight. It seems that the flash washed out all your colors. This is the course of looking very flat without shade's and highlights.

yes marc i now the clubs verywell.
but the club in gent is not exist anymore.
and the club in brugge i now a lot of people there, next month a ask my membership of these club.
and now about the pictures: yes i now ,i'm a bad photographer.
