Another nicely painted figure so far :) Sorry I haven't been able to see it in the last couple of weeks and also sorry for not being able to make it to the Figure club meeting either tonight.

Also, just letting you know i'm still alive lol.. Also, I do keep watch of most of your paint ups for "artistic inspiration". I need to pull my brushes out again ;)

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Sorry I've missed you the past few weeks my young Padwan:D:D.

Thanks for your comments and I hope to post a few more progress pics in a day or two.

Still waiting to see how you're going with your German Knight.:)

Almost finished - Phew

Hi guys,

This marathon 6 month painting effort is now reaching its final stages.

Just the groundwork, the hands and a few highlights on the metalwork on the rifle to be done now.:) And then the weathering begins:eek:

Just to give you some idea of how detailed these Naked Army sculpts are, check out the spent 5.56mm cartridges and the M60 link on the ground next to the boots.:eek:

As always, comments/ criticisms are welcome.

looks good Tony,
nice to see a face that looks 'real' rather then a square jawed heroic type from a recruiting poster!

For the amount of mud, his boots look a bit bare, however, there is always a balance between 'real' & 'ideal'. Plus, for a ll I know, he has just waded through a small creek.

For a large figure, done well.

Stand down, 2 cans, per man, per day, per haps.....:D

cheers

Hi Jamie,

Thanks very much for your comments mate.

I haven't started adding the weathering effects yet mate, which is why the boots look so clean. Rest assured they'll be muddy by the time I'm through with them.
