Hi guys
As posted in WIP the two busts going to the school in Normandy named after my dad , I contacted the BBC a while ago just to tell them about the story of how the connection between my dad and the school started 70 years ago and how it has developed over the last 20 years .
They said they would contact me and dad ,blow me they contacted my dad today and they intend to travel with us to Normandy and do in a sense a documentary about it all ,my dad is thrilled to bits but sad that he is the only one left out of his best friends .
They will also be at the school when the two busts are presented so Jim your work will be on the telly mate , and rightly so ,you really did come up trumps with what you did , as could not have done what you did , and you two mor importantly will be part of this fascinating connection with a small village in Normandy thank you Jim.

Wow Taff, that sounds great, the story will be told to the whole nation.

Keep us posted, I look forward to watching that in the summer.

All the best,
Jon.

Fascinating story Chris, love everything people post about the chaps who were there. My Dad took his cargo ship to the Mulberies not long after they opened for business.

Where can we find out more about your two figures and the whole story.

Don

Thanks Chris, I found it earlier but had to go lie down before I finished.
Great stuff indeed and I am delighted that your Dad can return to make the presentation you and Jimbo have worked on. Nice busts by the way.
