About the tree: I´m absoultly with you, but the company wanted base, wich shouldn`t be too big...the quarter tree was a compromise.

Sensitive and accurate 'body language'! I like very much an attitude: not as usual battle scene or portrait of victorious soldier but quite and balanced composition that allow to each painter to show his own attitude. One could see here an ambush, another one - hunting man. Maybe someone else would see it as any humorous scene?

Your analysis of the figure makes me really proud, because I had all this possibilities in the head when I sculpted him. And I also like it to creat a scene wich can be interprated with a little bit of humor...but it mustn´t.
