AMERICAN REVOLUTION, CONTINENTAL ARMY

This is the latest release from Beneito Miniatures. It represents and American Revolutionary of the Continental Army.

All parts are sandwich packed in a foam layered box. The piece is 54mm in scale and sculpted by Jose Hidalgo. There are six white metal pieces and two resin parts that make up the ground work and base. There is also a painting colour guide sheet included in the box.

Inspection of the parts show a good level of detail in both white metal and resin parts. All parts are well cast with a minimal of clean-up as expected with all white metal figures.

There is very little clean-up of the two resin parts that make up the base, assemble is very simple once the two pieces are located together.

Below for your inspection are the different parts of the figure kit.

Conclusion: Another fine release from this long established company. Something different again. Test fitting of some parts show good fit. Minimal clean-up of parts required.

Nice. I think that the American Revolutionary Wars might be my next few projects as I am getting Michael Roberts Continental Dragoon and Digby Smiths book for a starting for Christmas from the wife.

Does anybody know of any other must have models for this period, American or British forces. I'm not fussed. I've already got a Verlinden bust and a 120mm fig from the period so any advice would be appreciated........dom
