A Fixture
PAINTED BY; JOSE MANUEL ALVAREZ
This is one of the latest releases to come from Beneito Miniatures. It represents a Grenadier Officer 16th Foot, Battle of Culloden 1746.
The Kit is 54mm in scale and is cast in four white metal parts. A close up inspection of the parts show good detail and a high level of casting. All parts come well protected in a foam lined box and there is a painting guide included as well as the colour box art.
Front and rear views of the main torso and close ups of the left arm which include the rifle as the same one piece casting.
A close up of the 54mm head shows the excellent detail and character that Jose has sculpted into the face of this fine figure.
With the kit fully assembled we can look at the different angles and detail from various perspectives.
Conclusion:
Another very nice release from this long established company, again something slightly different. All parts are well cast and show a good level of detail with only the minimal of clean-up of a few hard to find seam lines, I think this will prove to be a popular piece. Highly recommended (I will be painting this one myself)
