Berdans, 1st Regt of sharpshooters, I believe in the May of 1862 the regiment were given the sharps rifle.
Lovely sculpt and painting. should do well with ACW buffs.

Nice sculpt, like the useage of the overcoat. The positioning of the rifle seems "uncomfortable" at best, maybe not even possible?
 
As I mentioned elsewhere, I think it's s great figure and the use of the greatcoat is a nice touch. However, the painting is incorrect...the sleeves below the cape are part of the greatcoat and should be the same blue. The pack is nicely done with a hair/fur finish on the outside.
 
It could be an Ulster coat, private purchase, popular during the civil war. Basically a coat without the sleeves.
Looking at the sleeves, it is a deep cuff and not the sleeve of a frock coat.
