So, here he is. Complete and mounted. Very happy with this bust!
Please let me know what you think. Or if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks,

Hi Darren,

That has come out really well , possibly I would put a wash over the metallics , love the bearskin and the shield and not forgetting the tattoos .

One question what effect were you looking for on the sword handle pommel and crossbar ?...seems a shame not to highlight this a bit more to bring out the details ..probably just me!

You certainly are getting through the Nuts stuff ...looking forward to the next .

Thanks for sharing

Excellent!(y)
The beard, the fur, the skin, the tattoos - I wish I would be just a little bit up to that level!
Cheers
Ulf

Practice, practice, and more practice!! And all of a sudden!!! It all fall's in place!! This is a big part, but also the desire and drive to do better than "YOUR" last piece. Don't compare to others, just your own.
As for your comments. THANK YOU!
Darren
ps... don't be afraid to ask questions.

Hey Nap,
I am going to take your advise, and give the handle a little highlight (pommel). Was a bit worried about drawing attention from face, but I don't think it should matter too much.
As for a wash on the metallics, it's already there. Maybe not coming through in the pics. Or maybe I should go stronger?

Appreciate the input, and I'll post the new shots when done.

Darren

A very well painted piece.
I like the various textures, the freehand work and the 'bling' he's wearing.

Cheers,
Andrew
