This is of course none other than General Friedrich-Wilhelm von Seydlitz-Kurzbach (February 3, 1721 - November 8, 1773, by syphilis) - recognizable by the sash of the Order of the Black Eagle ...



... with which he was awarded for his services on the battlefield of Rossbach (November 5, 1757)!












He wears the uniform of the 8th cuirassier regiment (Rochow cuirassiers, later Seydlitz cuirassiers), of which he was chief from November 20, 1757 to June 8, 1774.





Sure this novelty will find many lovers in Germany!
