It does make a great diversion. I do feel burned out at times just doing the figures but I still love building all sorts of models.

If I had any criticism to offer, it's that it needs a figure or two

Seriously, though, I say that because I grew up on Monogram and Revell kits, so for me, a kit wasn't complete without a pilot, or a driver or tank commander, or a tiny, tiny figure of Sir Francis Drake. When I got back into models, I was surprised to learn how figures had generally disappeared from most kits, because more modelers didn't use them than did.

I know that separate figures can be bought but to be honest I only build kits out of the box.
