Another one I have been wanting to paint for some time, Black Eagle's Life Guard 1815, sold by Hawk Miniatures and sculpted by Rob Lane, I think it is 1/12th scale.

After cleaning it up and washing and priming him I started with his face and hair using Artist's oils then blocked in the base colours for the rest of the head using Vallejo acrylics.

Now I shall block in the base colours for the body part of the bust.

This is a very nice bust in terms of color, beautiful contrast of the helmet with the uniform. Nice start Geof, just keep going :)

Cheers Borek :)

Hi Geoff

What have I told you about this ....I have bought another pair of running shoes to keep up with you !! ...mind you I do look good in Lycra...lol

Thus is a 1/12th bust, that's also a Imperial Guard Pioneer and a Saxon Viirassier I believe in the series ..go on you know you want to look

Anyway Mr C ....as always a fine start , looking forward to seeing the helmet come alive , Robs put some great details on it

Following ...but running out of breath ...

Happy benchtime

LOL, I must look out for those.

I have just given the helmet a Citadel wash to show up the detail and give the detail some depth before messing about with some base paint and the Pearl Medium.

Now stop all this running, think of your age mate

You sure are moving at light speed, no wonder Nap's out of breath. Excellent so far, keep up the good work.

Many thanks mate but I will not be going to the TM to exhibit again, just decided to call it a day there, I had 11 years but now find it has become a chore. I still intend to do Bugle if I can and you will have me.

Looking fantastic Geoff! Love the colors.

Cheers,
Ken
