Intersting the use of Halfords, my son uses the plastic primer on his F1 models but sounds like he should try the standard primer it comes in a bigger can and works out much cheaper.

Hycote is even cheaper. Quality is similar/the same (Hycote are supposed to be the makers of the stuff for Halfords).

Well you could pay that much; a 500-quid compressor would be a good start... if money were burning a hole in your pocket.

But it's a little like audio equipment, there can be a definite falloff in value for money past a certain price level.
