The zapcode was different for each person. It was a tag sewn onto the inside flap of the top left pocket of the cobat jacket as said above. It consisted of the persons blood group and first letter of surname and last four numbers of that persons serial number.
For example, H-0586 B-NEG. Some would pen it on to their first field dressings also.
