Here's the first piece that I've painted post Euro. Kindly given to me by Stu from Stormtroopers Miniatures at Euro it's a 1/16th (120mm) scale bust depicting a private of the 42nd Regiment of Foot (Black Watch) circa 1754-1763 at the time of the French and Indian War - 7 Years War.
These are a brilliant scale to paint, really love this size for a really enjoyable painting exercise. For this guy I really went for a departure from my normal acrylics and used exclusively Humbrol enamels and oils, even using printers inks for the buttons. Not a drop of acrylic in sight!
