Ulrich - yes, in the base used some cork. As well as the bark, clay, stones

Beautiful scene and really well painted. May be, just my opinion, the terrain is too big for that miniature. A little bit small base would bring out more the figure... but it's just my opinion. In other hand, good solved the terrain
