I am still TRYING to sculpt my own though I am have dificultys. Is there an SBS for sculpting faces IN PUTTY as it's a whole other story with polmers.

By blank to you mean bald Jake? There are a number of good spare-head sets for 1/35 scale which should be just about the perfect size for what you're looking for. Hornet make one of the largest (and best) ranges and they're widely available.

I thought =][= scale was actually bigger than 54mm though.

Einion

If he is going to be smaller than 1/35th scale the only thing would be to buy a set of 1/48th scale figures (lot of aviation based sets available) and cut the heads off. If neither 1/35th or 1.48th will do - you're beat I'm afraid.

You could use a too small head if you can't find one in an appropriate scale and build it up. Try a model train shop for anything less than 1/48, there are quite a few figures in the smaller scales at these places.

No. It's atualy quite smaller.
Okay, must be thinking of the wrong thing. Anyway, 1/35 scale should do fine, it's right about in the middle of the range you posted - 49.3mm tall for a guy of average height.

I assume that you will be doing this in 28mm scale, that the games come in, and not the ][ scale minatures that as Einion says, are bigger than 54mm.

In that case any plastic space marine head could be used.

BTW, have you seen this?

How about using the plastic heads that come with the Preiser Adam figure sets ? Alternatively, try "shaving" off the hair from the Historex spare head sets. HTH. Cheers !
Kenneth.

(BTW, Rob, COOL =][= figure !!!! Did it win anything at the recent Golden Demon ?)

I saw that figure in real life. I'm not doing it in 28mm scale I'm doing it in =][= scale which is this size:
