Hi all , I have at long last completed this little but really enjoyable scene in 1/35 called "Lost in Russia 1941" .
The BMW is a Master Box kit witch is a bitch is to build  but is worth it in the end , the crew are Mantis figure and standing figure is by Alpine .
All the stowed kit is from my spares box n the slings and straps are made from paper stiffened with super glue .
Everything is painted with Vallejo and life colour acrylics and the snow n mud is marble dust mixed with Gel Denso heavy transparent gel by Vallejo.

I hope you like it ? Please let me know your thoughts on it Sam .

Absolutely wonderful Sam. The painting is very good, composition is extremely well thought out and overall the dio tells a very good story.

Well done on a great result!

Dave

Sam you dont mess about ?!! this looks great buddy !! :)

Nice compact vignette ... lovely little scene, great painting also - love it (y)

Your killin' me though with these tiny images

Whats next ? eastern front

I love it.

But just be careful, I dont think you should leave so much snow on the wheels..... dont forget the bike is on and moving...

Hi all , thanks very much for taking the time to look and comment Im really happy you like it !

Thanks Carlos for your comments through the stages , the snow dust is from Historex , Andreas I think ....

Sam

That is a great bit of modelling there Sam, whole scene works very well and your groundwork is fantastic to compliment the figures which you have painted so well.

Nice job

Steve

Hi sam,the whole scene is beautiful, you say it was a bitch to assemble and finish but let me tell you this is what makes a standard vignette into a stunning one, your extra efforts have been well rewarded, the scenery and snow is very well done, the scene most of all tells a story, and it looks real,i like it very much (y)
