Review Book Review-designer's Guide To Samurai Patterns.

I bought a book recently that I thought other forum members may be interested in as well.
It's called a Designer's Guide to Samurai Patterns by Jeanne Allen. It has about 25 colour pics but most of the patterns are B&W prints.
There are many inspiring patterns which would be useful for anyone considering painting any Samurai figure.

I've had this book for several years and can highly recommend it-freely available on Abe Books for about a fiver in good condition.

I found it by chance, full of very cool designs that can be used on Kimono's, banners or whatever you like. > 700 patterns and emblems will keep you busy for a while.

Nice one Mark, just as I've finished painting the patterns on the Minamoto Yoshitsune bust exactly the type of book I would have liked for reference is brought to my attention!

Just ordered it from Amazon for 1p + £2.80 postage. Bargain.
