If you have any interest in maritime history seek out THE WAGER by David Grann.
Shipwreck, Mutiny, Murder, Survival......as good a non fiction story as you're going to get.
Written very much in a style that engages the reader and makes you wonder if you're reading a "ripping yarn" .......you're not, it's soundly based on solid research and factual admiralty documents.

I just picked up his book called Killers of the Flower Moon. A true story about how successful Osage nation Native Americans in Oklahoma were slowly killed off and their riches taken and the birth of the FBI. Got great reviews by the Wall Street Journal New York Times time magazine, NPR, etc.
