Hi Del

I hear you were in Italy, my favorite place.
It is the carl Reid bust , just cleaning it up at the mo,he will need to be a Scottish Reiver off course, got three on the go at the moment and one in the
post it is late so I fear it may have got lost along with Name plates which seem to have vanished as well I hope not it is a nice metal models Grenadier a cheval garde imperiale.

What are you up to

Ron

Hi Ron
I've started both the bust and full figure Reiver, very early days.
I'll have to upgrade my camera and I'll post some stuff.
Had a fortnight in Bavaria (kinda hooked on German Dornfelder red wine thanks to Stefan)...still drank the same amount of beer but added the wine. Followed up with a week going round Lake Garda....Italy is getting bl**dy expensive.
Cheers

Expensive is not the word I would use:lol:
paid eight euros fifty for a milk shake for the grand daughter in Sardinia
"officially Italy" but that is far as it goes won't be back! and they don't cook Italian either

Ron the Boder revievers clothing and equipment was pretty much the same as any late 16th or early 17th century figure would have worn .
The only differance was on the Scots side of the boder they wore a hip flask with Ten year old malt and on the English side a pewter ale tankard adapted to the sword hilt :D:D
chippy
