Probably Hugo's most epic kit.
Boudica, Queen of the Iceni.
75mm resin kit from RP Models.
I replaced the kit's resin reins with lead foil just to make them easier to bend and feed through.
Horses are based on Dartmoor Ponies. Painted in acrylics.

Thanks for your kind words chaps. I started this right back at the end of April and was determined to put in the effort and detail it deserved

I steered clear of this one as I always felt that Hugo made her too glamorous and 21st century-looking. However that's just my own personal view, and it takes nothing away from the absolutely first-rate job you've done on this one. Fabulous painting across the board, and probably the best version of it that I've seen.

Brilliant painting and presentation and for me, the centerpiece is the superb facial expression of the 'driver' which is captured to perfection. The whole piece is a bit too 'Romanticised Victorian era Statue' in style for me, but that is personal taste only and there is no denying it is a wonderful kit and you have done it justice.

Tremendous work.

Outstanding, really love the way you did the ponies, the whole thing is just full of movement.

Cheers Simon

Extraordinary , really awesome, horses, characters, chariot andd setting, superb freehand work wit the squares I don´t like that kind of texturized figures, but you did a nice work, I love the well balanced tones, muted colors give a real impression, and the result transport us to the 1st century BC. A gift for the eyes.
