Cracking boxart Alex and Gra!

You have breathed life into him Alex!
Not an easy piece to paint .to get just the right amount of dirt/weathering etc is not easy. But you nailed it perfectly Alex well done buddy!

Good photos too, again this a difficult piece to photograph!

Carl

Lovely bust Graham it must make you proud to see such a good result with this......I know it won't happen but have to agree this would make a lovely full size mounted figure......beautifully painted Alex what did you use for the cuirasse paint wise ?.......Kevin

Good afternoon. Great job!!! Excellent!!!
Maybe off topic, but wanted to discuss the possibility of a few add to the work of a small supplement. I think not enough horsehair and need to add this. Work in the beginning. Much needs to be done. Many options. This is a sketch of the work. I should think in this direction??????? If you think that the answer is not necessary, no problem. Inquiring professionals. It will not hurt copyright???????? Sorry for my english.

Thank you all for the comments and thank you Osvald for showing.

It is a fine line between what can be produced as a quality cast and that which can be sculpted.
I know the aim that Carl wanted to portray was maximum movement, in this case I think the less is more worked but I always enjoy seeing what the modeller does.
It is actually seeing our products made and painted that spurs us on to the next so many thanks for showing your work :)
Please post more as you progress
Best wishes
Gra

I don't think there can be much doubt that Carl is truly the master of the extended bust genre, this piece is so full of life and action, and the painting is inspirational.
Best wishes, Gary.

I have just started to assemble this piece recently and its a cracking piece of sculpting by Carl, the box art by Alex is superb and I'm so pleased alex weathered his piece with mud on the sleeves as well which gives a true representation of this fatal day,i cant wait to get the paints out, highly recommended 10/10
