Luca Olivieri sent me the photos of the Boxed diorama his good friend, Giorgio Frildini constructed and painted. Giorgio is a member of the AMS Verona Club in Verona, Italy.

The scene depicts a battle on a Roman bridge over the river Adige in Verona, Italy with the Italian and Austrian troops engaged in combat durring the Austrian Invasion. The battle takes place in the now, downtown section of the city.

Guy, Thanks for posting the pics. That should be in a museum. Projects of this scope are not for the faint of heart.~Gary

I just learned from Luca that the figures are 15mm in size and the size of the scene is 50 X 50 cm.

Awesome painting for 15mm figures.

That is one of the prettiest box diorama I have ever seen, very elegant,

Luca is there any chance we can see some close ups?

Guy thanks for posting.

Cheers
Roc. :)
