Hi Vladi,

nice Figure and great paintjob. Not really my time frame but for Modelers which are Interested in Indochina Conflict before the US involement in Vietnam every Figure is welcome i think. Only Problem i see with this one is that it doesn´t really fit to the other ones of your line. These have more combat action poses and this one is totaly relaxed. As stand alone Figure really nice and with great work on the jump equipment. Also the likeness of Jean Réno is brilliant :D. Do you know more than we about his next movie he,he.

Greetings

Perhaps Jean RENO did not particpated to the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, but this face give a french caracter to the figure, and with the age he make a good NCO;
Just a little thing, the french Indochina war can't be resumed by Dien Bien Phu 1954.
The war beging in 1945, 9 years long. Quite 25000 French soldiers died (inluded, the colonials troops, Légion Etrangère with 50/60% of German)
There's a lot of figures to make on this subject.
So thanks to BRAVO 6 to began....(y)
But one more figure to buy.....Hope my Bank manager (my wife:love: ) will be agree:censored:

It's funny what you said, Zastrow. The portrait is perfect but the real name of Jean Reno is Juan Moreno Herrera- Díaz, as his parents are spanish ;).

Brilliant figure, Demchenko! (y)

Hi Diegoff, do not forget that there's a lot of French with Spanish parents !
Do not also forget, that in the unit how were in DBP, and also drop in, there's the "Légion Etrangère".
So.....
Yes, I knew an Indochine and Algerie veteran living in Spain, though he wasn't spanish ...

Hi Diegoff, i'm sure you know where is my town Hendaye, Spain Border, Païs Vasco/Euzkadi Lapurdi, i know somebody 94 years old, veteran of the Spanish Civil War, Republican Soldier, was in German concentration camps(Mathausen), i spoke few time with him...He never went in Spain, far from his house for about 500/800 meters, from the end of the SCW !!!
For Indochina and Algeria Veteran, returning to the subject, my father was one, he also make Suez in 1956.
So i'm very glad to see figures like the BRAVO 6 one's.
That's change....

Sorry to all PF members, i was out of the subject and i was beginning a private conversation with Diegoff.
Returning to the subject, here is a photo of the Para in Indochina preparing for the flight (not sure it was for DBP), a lot of drops were made in this war.

For those interesting in DBP, one of the best book is in French from DOCAVIA.

Hi Zastrow,

I'm curerently reading convoi 42, from Erwan Bergot, telling the story of the prisoner just after the battle (he was himself part of a convoy).
I've read all his book...
