bravo vietnam figures

i have some of these figures and they are excellent but i dont know how to soften the resin ammunition belts so that they hang on the figure correctly, can anyone suggest how i do this, thank you/badger

Bill. Boiling water, hair dryer, I use a paint stripping gun.
I'd go careful, as they're very fragile and won't need much.
