This is out of control. As a US citizen I say we need throw major support to the Kurds.
I have the chance to have some information, I know French military special force (1 RPIMA, 13 ° RDP, Marine Commando ...), it would seem that there is some troops from the French type Canadaiennes, US, UK etc on the ground, but they are not enough.
Western governments are afraid to commit too much into this mess.
And as regards my country, France is not financially aided by the EC, whereas it has troops in Mali and the Central African Republic to fight against Boko Haram and counselors in Kurdistan, as well as aircraft engaged in the coalition.
France, is now a small country, but all these military and security forces are on a war footing also on French territory which is very expensive!
to go back to subject, the attack in France is less serious than in Tunisia, it seems that many victims are British!
Tunisia is the emblem of the "Paintemps Arabe/ Arab Spring", it seemed that the country had its successful revolution. But it does not please at all those extremists who are destroying the hopes of many nations.
But it has always been thus with extremists ...
