Hola Guys!

Im in the process of making a 75mm (1/24th) Bren Gun. I have several references regarding the length of the weapon. They all state that it is 1150mm long (115cm, 42.5 inches) with a 635mm Barrel (63.5cm, 25.0 inches). This is really pretty small and measures out to 4.79 cm long over all and 2.64 cm barrel.

If someone out there could varify this it would be most helpful!

Thanks guys!

Hello Anders

Actually I have a 1:1 Bren Gun MKII in my hobby room  and after some measuring the total lenght is 115,6 cm, the barrel (the visible part) is 56,5 cm and the stock is 24,5 cm. If you need any more measures I'l be happy to help you.

Cheers

Thanks guys!!

I believe that the Mk I and II were basically the same length while the Mk III sported a shorter barrel. Im doing the Mk II, so that is very cool that you have a 1:1 in your hobby room!!!

The measures really helped, especially the stock length! Now, if you wouldnt mind, how wide is the top part of the 'metal box' ? Also, what is the measurement of the clip, any chance you could take a shot of just the clip that can be scaled down and printed?

Thanks again!

Why don't you use the scaler here on Pf and reduce a good profile pic of the actual weapon? It will give you a weapon that is perfectly scaled down.~Gary
