A complete change of direction for me on this project,temporary move from military to music.
This piece was something I came across on the internet by a company called Conceptminiatures,they deal in music subjects and there are some nice pieces in the range.
As an AC/DC fan I couldn’t resist the bust they do depicting AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson.
The bust is a good representation of Brian Johnson in one of his familiar poses.
The bust has been cast I grey resin and has minimal clean up.
As with all my pieces,they are primmed in Halfords grey primmer and then undercoated in the appropriate acrylic colours before the whole piece was finished in oils.
The bust is 1/10th scale and includes a small resin plinth and a shield shape AC/DC also in resin.
A nice change from the norm and very enjoyable to paint.
