Robert the Bruce Lord of Annandale before he became King of Scotland
Please excuse the quality of the photos as i'm struggling with getting the lighting right .Thankfully the figure looks better in the flesh

Hi Phil
I paint my faces with oils the same way as someone who paints with enamels or acrylics mostly wet on dry and just building it up layer by layer .A lot slower than other mediums but i can only work with oils

Brian, I agree with everyone else. That is one very nice looking figure . The lighting helps set the "mood" of the figure actually. Dark and forboding. Excellent work on the mail and your flesh tones only set the whole piece off. If you did this Robert The Bruce, you need to get Andrea's 70mm figure. Not the most accurate (or so they say) but it's one gorgeous piece of metal. Looking forward to what rolls off your desk next.
Hi Guy
Good question as i don't really know what to do next.I may start Andreas Mounted Cortes a beautiful little figure i.e. a true 54mm or i 'm thinking of maybe buying Andreas 70mm Robert the Bruce after reading Jim's suggestion.Only thing is i would have to grovel to the wife again

Hi Roy
I've just had a look at your web site and your work is superb.I especially like the female's face as i've not seen too many convincing faces of women but your one is exceptional The hair is spot on too.
