Hi Guys,

Just finished up this new 75mm release from www.unitedempireminiatures.com. It represents a soldier from the British 40th Foot Rgt., ca. 1777. Painted with acrylics. Thanks for looking!

Jason

Beautiful paint job, beautiful sculpt, and with Gary, historically accurate. As far as the pose goes, I felt that it needs something to go along with it, a tree, building, another figure, etc. to explain the body movement. Since Jason was only doing box art, he had to keep to the kit.

A tree or portion of fence line might enhance things a bit. The figure is far from what a lot would when it comes to a Revolutionary War British soldier. A parade ground look is not very practical in addition to throwing in the efforts it would take to maintain that appearance. For those that are a bit adventurous the conversions possibilities on this one open it up to a number of subjects.

Lovely bit of painting, I like the little details such as the crow's foot.
The pose does nothing for me either, having said that it does look well done.(y)
