Hi all - latest piece just completed today: a 1/10 scale bust of a British general of the 1st Airborne Div. c.1944. The sculpt is based on Gen. Roy Urquhart as portrayed by a “shertain Shcottish acta” in the 1977 film, “A Bridge Too Far”. My usual oils and acrylics:

Lovely job Brian. You have a signature style and it’s terrific.

Thanks - kind of you. I didn’t have much experience with busts when I decided to try one, so I started with a bunch of smaller scale ones at 1/16, then went up to a few 1/12, and finally 1/10. Scaling up that way made the transition much less intimidating.Superb, I struggle painting that big. A good job all round.
