This weekend, along with many others, I'll be at Elvington Airfield in North Yorkshire as part of their Battlegroup North Wheels & Wings weekend. The Living history group I'm a member of will be displaying British Airlanding uniforms, weapons and equipment along with some German weapons, mines and ****ytraps, we'll also be displaying our brand new Airborne 6pdr AT gun (an exact replica painstakingly made by a mate of mine over 2 years!).

If any of you want photos of any of the above please let me know and I'll do my best for you.

Cheers

Matt

A generous offer Matt, I say take all you can ;)

Notably any photo's of the reverse side of a uniform are the most rarity!

I can make arrangements for a bulk transfer from you to add to planetFigure's reference section just like I did here:
http://www.planetfigure.com/reference/

Cheers and have a great weekend!

The more the merrier mate :)

high res close ups of weapons from all angles; Piat, Lee Enfield, pistols (webley etc) would be great, tell me if I am asking too much :)

have a great weekend mate and hope to catch you at Victory show if it manages to run this year.

Cheers

Nice one Gordy, although as it happens on this occasion I was rushed off my feet for both days so hardly had chance to eat let alone take pictures! I did manage to get a shot of our trophy though... we won best display!

But since I own most of the gear its no problem to get some photos put together and take you up on your offer of a bulk upload so I'll be in touch as soon as I've caught up with some sleep!

You never ask too much mate, its no problem.

Yep, Victory show is deffo a goer this year (so far) and you'll love it as we intend to put on one of the largest British Airborne displays for many years, hopefully with 60+ men (including the Poles), dug in in the woods as Oosterbeek perimeter. Should be a good one, I'll keep everyone posted. And hope to see you there for sure!

A couple of photos of the day.

Please note the Airborne 6pdr AT gun, a full size replica built by my mate Andy (seen at the front of the gun), it took him 2 years and he built it on his own under his carport!

Also, for those of you who have never been to Elvington museum, its very good, with plenty of aircraft and even renovated buildings and hangers, if you're local then its worth a visit.

Also, please note our trophy, of which we are very proud as there were only three of us on the stand for two days.

Cheers all

Matt
