Here is a preview of an incredible new figure that we will be releasing at EURO. The figure will be available at EURO from our UK agent S.K. Minatures.

It is a 75mm British Officer in Egypt 1804. The figure was sculpted by Mike Good. It is jam packed full of tiny intricate details. Mike has really out done himslef on this one. Here are some preview pics of the raw sculpt. Eddy Vandersteen will be painting the box art.

Hope you like it.

Thanks to all for your kind comments. This figure has languished on my bucket list for many years now. It was fun to do, and surprisingly "different" to sculpt. I am not used to the tight and strangely cut clothing of this era. I did my best to get it right.

BTW, the correct date for this figure is 1801. He is an Officer of a center company of the 58th Regiment as it appeared at the battle of Alexandria.

If this figure does well for the Model Cellar, perhaps there may be more in this vein in the future..... ;)

Cheers!!

Mike

My fingers are firmly crossed !

An awesome sculpt from Mike as usual. This one will be most definitely finding its way to my bench. A must have.

Brilliant work, especially on the drapery.

An important unit in NZ history Mike, albeit well before they visited our shores perhaps one of the follow up subjects maybe their later incarnation where many discharged to become our pioneer forefathers.

Like you I do hope this fellow is successful venture with Model Cellar.
Paul - who is your boxart artist for this work?
It's going to be a beautifully colourful figure with red, whites & yellow.
Bring it on!
